Files can be imported and exported between VM and D365 Business Central.

I am currently working on a project that has put me in the position where I need to import.txt files into d365 business central from a repository that is located on a remote Virtual Machine. Is it possible to set up such a connection so that it works in both directions (export and import)? My investigation has led me to believe that it is not possible to accomplish using power automation or logic apps; therefore, it would be wonderful if you could assist me in locating an alternative solution that will actually be effective.
