In the rdlc report, I actually need to color two rows of one color and then color the next two rows of a different color alternatively. For instance, the first and second rows must be colored red, while the third and fourth rows ought to be colored yellow. Once more, the fifth and sixth grades should be written in red, the seventh and eighth in yellow, etc.

The method shown below may help you in formatting the rows colors.
->Two rows in the above image have the same colour.
->Select the rows, then go to Background Color and select Expression as seen in the image below if you want the first and second row to have a different colors.
->Then Write Expression ,As Shown In image. And Save it.
Then you can show Output like below image:
