Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Central Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, customizing, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions for our clients. This role requires deep functional knowledge of Business Central and the ability to translate business requirements into effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implementation and Configuration:

    • Lead and participate in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.
    • Configure Business Central to meet business needs and objectives.
    • Conduct system testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  2. Business Analysis:

    • Work with clients to understand their business processes and requirements.
    • Analyze and document client business processes and functional requirements.
    • Provide recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.
  3. Customization and Integration:

    • Customize Business Central to align with business processes and requirements.
    • Integrate Business Central with other systems and third-party applications.
    • Develop and implement data migration strategies.
  4. Training and Support:

    • Train end-users on Business Central functionalities and best practices.
    • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to clients.
    • Develop user manuals, training materials, and documentation.
  5. Project Management:

    • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources.
    • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  6. Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay updated with the latest features and functionalities of Business Central.
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and recommend upgrades.
    • Share knowledge and best practices with team members and clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly NAV) implementations and support.
  • Strong understanding of business processes in finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and sales.
  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing Business Central.
  • Experience with data migration and system integration.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate is preferred.
